Vendor Image Use
Vendor Image Use
Hey fellow wedding people
We love sharing our work with the vendors who helped make the day happen. If we've sent you images from a wedding, you're welcome to use the ones that feature your work on your social media and website — just follow the guidelines below.
Nothing too dramatic. Mostly just please don't slap an Instagram filter over three weeks of editing.
1. What You Can Use
You're welcome to use images we've shared with you that feature or relate to your work — whether that's the venue, florals, styling, dress, makeup, cake or whatever magic you brought to the day. Please avoid using unrelated family portraits, guest photos or other images that don't meaningfully feature your work.
2. Social Media
Feel free to share the images on your social channels. Please credit and tag @everlastcreative in the caption so people know who created the photograph. Cropping to suit the platform is completely fine. Heavy cropping, zooming, filters or re-editing aren't — Sam has already spent enough time staring at Lightroom.
3. Website Use
You're also welcome to feature the images on your business website where they relate to your work. Please credit Everlast Creative and, where practical, link back to everlastcreative.com.
4. Please Don't
A few simple no-gos:
don't apply filters or substantially alter the edit;
don't heavily crop or zoom into the image;
don't sell, sublicense or provide the images to another business;
don't use the images for paid advertising, sponsored campaigns, product packaging, brochures or other standalone advertising material without checking with us first;
don't print the images for commercial display or promotional material without permission; and
don't share a private client gallery or gallery access details with other people.
If another vendor wants the images, send them our way and we'll happily sort them out.
5. Want to Use an Image for Something Bigger?
If you'd like to use one of our images for paid advertising, print media, a major campaign, publication or anything outside normal social and website use, just email us first at hello@everlastcreative.com. We're usually pretty easy to deal with. Contrary to what five paragraphs of copyright rules might suggest.
6. Copyright
Copyright in our photographs and films remains with Everlast Creative Pty Ltd unless otherwise agreed in writing. When we provide images to a vendor, we're giving permission to use them for the purposes described on this page — we're not transferring ownership of the copyright. Australian copyright protection is automatic, and reuse generally requires the copyright owner's permission unless a legal exception applies. Client privacy always comes first. If we've told you that particular images can't be shared, please respect that even if they would otherwise fall within these guidelines.
7. Questions?
Not sure whether what you're planning is okay? Just ask. hello@everlastcreative.com.
Thanks for crediting the people behind the work and helping us all support each other.
