ilma Beach House, Naturaliste

Peter and Denise’s wedding celebrations unfolded across two weekends in the Margaret River region, bringing together a historic chapel, a traditional beach ceremony and some of Western Australia’s most recognisable coastal scenery.

Their first ceremony was held at the historic St John the Theologian Chapel on Mitchell Drive in Prevelly. One week later, on 27 February 2026, they celebrated their second ceremony at ilma Beach House in Naturaliste, overlooking the open water and sweeping South West coastline.

Clear weather gave them an incredible setting for the beach ceremony and allowed the celebration to flow naturally around ilma Beach House’s seaside location. As the light began to soften, Peter and Denise travelled to Sugarloaf Rock for their sunset portraits.

The contrast between the intimate chapel, the open beach and the rugged coastline gave the two celebrations completely different characters while still feeling like parts of the same story.
